Audio Visual Alarm Station AV2-DV2

Detcon SmartWireless® audio-visual alarm stations are easily and economically deployable in permanent and temporary installations. These devices have a battery-powered audio visual alarm station designed as a component of a wireless wireless system. They are self-certified for class 1; Division 2, Groups B, C, D hazardous areas.

Power is supplied by a smart battery designed by Detcon, eliminating the need for power or signal cables (line power option available). Standard rechargeable battery packs are capable of providing enough power for 5 hours of continuous operation under full alarm condition or 4 months (without alarm condition).

The standard rechargeable battery permanently signals its charge level and its estimated operating time before recharging or replacement is necessary. An optional solar charge panel can be used to extend operating time and maintain full battery charge levels for virtually any application.
