Snares are used off shore, on smooth shore lines and in open waters to capture thick oils.
Pro-Snare resemble a sling and uses that shape to capture and hold Bunker ‘C’, and Bunker ‘B’ oil ( Bunker B is No. 4 or No. 5 oil, and Bunker C would be No. 6 fuel oil.) forming it into a ball.
Pro-Snare are packaged either loose or on a rope.
- SP-SNARE-30 is a loose packed bale of 8 oz. Pro-Snare. You will find 30 Snare per bale. As they are loose packed, this allows the user to use the product by hand in small confined spaces.
- SP-SNARE-30R is a bale of 8 oz. Pro-Snare attached to a 50’ yellow braided rope, spaced every 22”. It is great for actively capturing thick oils on the surface of the water, by dragging it behind a boat.
