FLAME DETECTOR – FV300

The Scott Safety FlameVision FV300 is a revolutionary flame detection instrument that utilizes a focal plane array (FPA) of 256 infrared sensors as a sensing component to locate the angular position of a fire within the field of view.

An optional CCTV camera can provide location information that is superimposed on a composite video output and signal the coordinates of this location on its data output allowing an operator to quickly verify the alarm. A unique masking capability enables unwanted sources of radiation in the field of view to be eliminated from processing without compromising other detection areas.
